Fletcher Chicago is the largest supplier in the US of video and audio equipment to the broadcast industry outside New York and Los Angeles. From their new headquarters on historic Goose Island in Chicago, they sell and rent equipment all over the world. Their new facility includes equipment sales and demonstration spaces, rental distribution facilities, calibration and repair laboratories and the company's executive and sales offices. The building contains over 30,000 square feet. It was built in the 1800's as a tannery and for the preceding forty years had declined into use as a storage shed for a scrap metal yard and the occasional site of movie sets.
